Two Brides walk away holding hands outside Cheshire View Hotel Chester

Chester Wedding Photography – Cheshire View Hotel.

I really enjoyed meeting up with Katy and Pippa for their engagement shoot Delamere forest in Cheshire earlier this year. It was an idyllic setting for the shoot and we had lots of fun, so I was really excited about photographing their big day.

Katy and Pippa decided that they didn’t want any bridal prep photographs, so I made my way straight to the Cheshire View Hotel in the morning where I met with some of the family and then the registrar. Katy and Pippa really wanted to have the wedding ceremony outside and luckily the weather was perfect, so I headed out and set up ready for their arrival.

During the ceremony I captured some natural photographs of Katy and Pippa smiling and laughing together, whilst making sure to keep my distance and not intrude on their special moment.

After the ceremony I took some mock register signing photographs an invited any guests up that wished to take some photographs of the happy couple, then the Bride’s walked back down the aisle and were greeted by hotel staff with celebratory drinks. At this point I let the bride and groom relax and converse with their guests whilst I took some candid photographs.

After a time I approached Katy and Pippa to start the group photographs and together with the Best Men, I rounded everyone up for a full group shot and then split the guests in to different family/friend groups for smaller group photographs and the two bride’s for some romantic shots.

Katy and Pippa headed inside for their wedding breakfast after this and afterwards they had the speeches which had everyone in creases with laughter.

After the bride and groom greeted their evening guests, they cut their cake and went straight in to the first dance.

Here are some photographs from Katy and Pippa’s day:
