Abergele Wedding Photography - The Gwenfrewi Project

I was really looking forward to capturing Kerry & Ian's twilight Wedding at this really unique Wedding venue and it did not disappoint!

My afternoon started at a cottage that the Bride & Groom had rented nearby to the The Gwenfrewi Project for themselves and their family to get ready at. They are not local to the area, so had arranged to stay down in the area for a few days. The whole family was there to greet me in the morning and I used this time to get some candid shots, including some intense Jenga game-play!

After this we headed down to the Gwenfrewi Project for the ceremony. The Gwenfrewi Project is a really unique venue, as it is and old Church that is now privately owned and the owner has done a fantastic job restoring it and the decor is stunning. So although it was technically in a church, it was still a laid back informal ceremony.

After the ceremony had concluded we went outside before we lost the last light of the day day to take a few portraits. Kerry & Ian had only requested limited formal shots, because it was a very laid back wedding, so we got through them in no time!

After this it was very candid for the rest of the evening, apart from a few informal speeches and the first dance.

Thank you Kerry and Ian for letting me be a part of your day and thank you to The Gwenfrewi Project for being great hosts!

Here are some photographs from the big day:
