May 30th 2019 | Wedding Photography
The day started at Amy’s parents house in Wrexham for a morning of bridal prep photography filled with laughter and a few tears of joy, before heading down to Llay Community Church to photograph the wedding ceremony. After a lovely relaxed ceremony, we then moved over to the Lion Quays Hotel in Oswestry for wedding reception photographs.
The Lion Quays is a beautiful wedding venue and one of my favourite venues in North Wales to work at, as there are so many options for photographs. They have beautiful gardens there and a lovely picturesque area down by the canal, which is perfect for me as a photographer. I met Amy & Jake a few months before their wedding day for their pre-wedding photography session and they were both so natural in front of the camera. I knew that on their wedding day they would be great to work with and I was not disappointed! They are such a lovely couple and it was an absolute pleasure to be their North Wales wedding photographer.
The weather was great, so we made the most of it by having all of the group shots, wedding party photography and wedding portraits outside. I always like to make the most of the good weather when it’s there as you never know what the British weather is going to do!
It was then time for the wedding breakfast and speeches, before heading back outside for some more couple photography as the sun started to set. The day ended with a first dance, which was captured using my off-camera flash photography to create some stunning images of Amy & Jake dancing together.
If you are looking for a North Wales wedding photographer to shoot your big day at the Lion Quays Hotel or anywhere else in North Wales for that matter, then get in touch today and we can discuss all of your wedding photography needs!
